Vladimir
Popov's one-man exhibition is to be opened at the Runstingerhof gallery
in Holland. Popov's work is a tireless search for the truth, be it an
attempt to divine the mystery of the sea shell which keeps in its core
the immense sound palette of the ocean or a return to the philosophical
gist of the conversation between fancy-form vessels in his still lifes.
Popov enjoys invariable success in Europe: this spring he has had several
exhibitions in France and Germany, and at the latest Press Club de France
auction in Paris his picture "The Artist and his Model" offered next
to paintings by Dali and Picasso was successfully sold.
